Nowadays it is said that news moves faster than the air. How it became possible? Technology made it easy for us. An important invention changed the communication system in a day. The name of the technology is satellite. Now using satellite we can communicate easily sitting one end of the world with the another end. Like this Lyngsat Nilesat is a new era for the middle east countries in communication sector. This is a online database or helpdesk for the satellite Nilesat. An Egyptian company took the step to develop their communication sector. They first introduced Nilesat which is the name of a bunch of Egyptian communication satellite. It was first introduced in 1996 with a view to operating their satellites and their related ground control station and other facilities. Egyptian Radio & Television Union owns 40 percent of share of this company and these satellites. Arab Organization for Industrialization owns 10 percent of the share, Egyptian Company for Investment Projects owns 9 percent of the share and the rest of the share owned by the public, some Egyptian financial institutions and some other investors. The number of ground stations are two. The primary one is in 6th of October City and the secondary ground station is in Alexandria. Most of the satellites are at 7 degrees in west which are operated by Nilesat. It telecasts 415 television channels among which 300 channels are free to air. There are more than one satellite working individually. In Lyngsat Nilesat one can have the information about those satellites and their telecasted channels. Nilesat 101 was started by the European Space Agency. It was carried by an Ariane 4 rocket on 28 April 1998. Same company launched Nilesat 102 which was carried by an Ariane 44LP rocket on 17 August 2000. Nilesat 103 which is a leased satellite is working with its two sister Satellites Nilesat 101 and Nilesat 102. They are providing digital TV channels, transmitting data, Turbo internet connections and multicasting applications. These satellites telecast programme in North Africa and Middle East countries where they have 15 million people who enjoy these programme. Later another satellite named Nilesat 201 was launched with the help of France and Italy.
Nilesat satellites are the main base of the communication field for middle east countries. And Lyngsat Nilesat is the connecting bridge between the people and the help that the satellites offers us. That's all. |
